Today, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video opened to mixed reviews. The movie, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles, has so far earned Rs. 1.97 crore despite releasing during Navratri festivities. According to Sacnilk, it witnessed an overall occupancy of 12.87% on Day One, with about 3500 shows across India.

Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, directed by Raaj Shaandhilyaa, has ben released alongside Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s Jigra, which has, so far, has earned Rs. 1.61 crore, according to Sacnilk.

The Vasan Bala directorial witnessed an overall occupancy of 14.83% on Friday. Surprisingly, Jigra has lesser shows compared to the Rajkummar Rao starrer. Jigra marks the return of Bhatt after her 2023’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, co-starring Ranveer Singh.

Previously, Rajkummar Rao was seen in the blockbuster, Stree 2, which also starred Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, among others. Stree 2, released on Independence Day, has earned over Rs. 855 crore worldwide!

Meanwhile, Dimri was last seen in Bad Newz, also starring Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. It had opened to Rs. 8.3 crore, and went on to collect over Rs. 113 crore globally. Before this, she starred in the Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, which is one of the highest-grossing movies of 2023, with a collection of over Rs. 900 crore!

It seems like Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is going to be one of the lowest opening movies of Rajkummar Rao. His last few released movies before Stree 2 – Srikanth and Mr. & Mrs. Mahi – had earned Rs. 2.25 crore and Rs. 6.75 crore, respectively, on its opening day in India.
