October 7, 2024

Alia Bhatt is currently juggling many hats—an award-winning actor, a co-producer, a clothing brand entrepreneur, and most importantly, a hands-on mother to her daughter Raha. Despite her busy schedule promoting her upcoming film Jigra, which she also co-produced, Alia always makes time for her family. And recently, she and husband Ranbir Kapoor gave their daughter a Bollywood initiation, introducing her to some of their hit songs.

During a press meet on Monday, Alia was asked which of her songs she would want her daughter to watch first. In her typically candid style, the actress revealed, “Just yesterday, she saw the first song that I ever shot in my life—‘Radha Teri Chunri’ from Student of the Year (2012).”

Alia went on to explain that she and Ranbir have slowly started introducing their daughter, who is almost two years old, to Bollywood songs. “The first song she ever saw was ‘Kesariya’ from Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva (2022). But yesterday, she saw ‘Radha Teri Chunri’ and ‘Badtameez Dil’ from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) back to back. She must be thinking, this is normal,” Alia added with a laugh, charming the audience with her relatable parenting moment.

As Alia continues to balance her multifaceted career and motherhood, it’s clear that her daughter Raha is already getting a head start on her Bollywood education—one catchy song at a time! Meanwhile, Alia will soon be seen in the action-thriller, Jigra, which also stars Vedang Raina. The movie is set to hit cinema halls this Friday.
