Priyanka Chopra Jonas is expanding her Hollywood comedy portfolio with a role in Nicholas Stoller’s forthcoming Amazon MGM Studios film, joined by Michael Peña. The movie features Will Ferrell and Zac Efron as leads, with Regina Hall, Jimmy Tatro, and Billy Eichner completing the cast.

Priyanka shared her excitement by posting a screenshot of the casting announcement on her Instagram stories, teasing fans about the project. Written and directed by Stoller, known for Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors, the film follows his recent Amazon MGM collaboration You’re Cordially Invited, starring Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon.

The untitled film, formerly known as Judgment Day, revolves around a compelling and comedic storyline. It tracks a young ex-convict, portrayed by Zac Efron, who hijacks an unscripted courtroom reality show, driven by his belief that the judge, played by Will Ferrell, “delivered a ruling that destroyed his life.”

The narrative promises a wild, darkly humorous journey. While details about Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Michael Peña’s roles remain closely guarded, their casting has sparked buzz among fans and insiders. The project is produced by Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown via Gloria Sanchez Productions, alongside Nicholas Stoller through Stoller Global Solutions.

For Priyanka Chopra, this marks another milestone with Amazon MGM Studios, where she’s also set to star in The Bluff, directed by Frank E. Flowers, and Heads of State, alongside John Cena and Idris Elba. She previously appeared in Citadel with Richard Madden, and is slated for SS Rajamouli’s SSMB29 alongside Mahesh Babu. Peña, known for A Million Miles Away, recently featured in Landman and A Working Man, now in theaters.
