Remo D’Souza Accused Of ‘Copying’ Housefull 5’s Laal Pari Step From Instagram Influencer’s Reels: ‘No Credit…’

Popular content creator Sandip Brahamin has accused Remo D’Souza, the choreographer of the Housefull 5 song Laal Pari, of replicating one of his signature dance moves. Just a few days ago, Sandip posted a video on his official Instagram account, alleging that a specific step from his content was copied in the song, which has gained widespread popularity among audiences. Laal Pari has taken social media by storm, emerging as the latest viral hit, with fans and influencers enthusiastically dancing to its infectious rhythm.

Sandip pointed out that the makers of the song copied a move where the lead actors, wearing hats, perform a head-shaking gesture. To support his claim, he shared older videos of himself executing the same step. He stated, “You all have seen my signature moves. My move has been copied in Housefull 5 song Laal Pari. Many of my friends DMed me on Instagram. Therefore, I rechecked on Instagram and YouTube. They’ve neither mentioned me nor have they given me credit. I don’t know what is happening.”

He also called on his followers to back him in this matter, saying, “I want you guys to share this video to as many people as you can. I want you’ll to support me.” The video he shared can be viewed online. As of now, Remo D’Souza has not responded to these allegations.

The song Laal Pari features an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Nargis Fakhri, and others. It is performed by Yo Yo Honey Singh and Simar Kaur.

Meanwhile, Housefull 5, which hit theaters on June 6, is performing robustly at the box office. After its opening weekend, the film has grossed Rs 87 crore and is on track to surpass the Rs 100 crore milestone soon. The movie opened with Rs 24 crore on its first day, marking it as the biggest opener in the comedy franchise’s history. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film also features Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Fardeen Khan, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Johnny Lever, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer, Dino Morea, Chitrangda Singh, Akashdeep Sabir, Ranjeet, and other actors in key roles.
